Karl Josephs (born December 19, 1950 in Toronto) beginning his career in Leamington, Ontario in 1972, Josephs has been a top radio broadcaster in London, Ontario for the past 33 years. He can currently be heard on AM 1410 weekdays 6am to noon playing oldies and favorites. He has an expert knowledge and love of all genres of music, although his all-time favorite band has been The Who since the 1960s. In his free time you can find Karl enjoying his music and music video collections, working on his photography, spending time in the garden, watching The Simpsons, attending local theatre with his wife or dancing to the latest The Black Eyed Peas hit. He has three daughters who are all successfully pursuing their dreams, a likely result of having watched Karl achieve his. == Achievements == In December 2003, Josephs was presented with the Distinguished Service Award from Standard Broadcasting Corporation in recognition of 30 years of dedicated work. In 2002 Josephs was honored as a member of the Quarter Century Club by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters for his 25-year commitment to Canadian radio. In February 1993, Josephs received a gold record in honor of 20 years of on-air work with CJBK and BX93 radio in London, Ontario and in celebration of his 500,000 record played.
